About Us

Where and when the story begins

Angie’s Bar, it is located just a short stroll from Willesden Green Station under Jubilee Line, in North West London with close proximity to affluent neighbourhoods Brondesbury Park, Queen’s Park and Kensal Rise.

It first opened in 1992 and it is owned by county Mayo native, Gerry Grealis. He named the bar after his wife, Angela, a tradition he kept when opening other bars around London.

Pretty nice pub that plays many matches. Prices are very good. Theres a nice ceiling there and plenty of space to have a pint with the regular. Bar staff is also very friendly

Five stars for the service, they tried to make espresso martini without success and gave me full refund with a cup of espresso;we shouldn't blame people trying to make it don't we? Sometimes it takes a while to practice until something good will happen. Looking forward to come over and try other cocktail in the future!

Clean, minimalist, no frills old school Irish boozer. There's no craft beer here - just 'classic' lager like Carlsberg, Carling and Fosters (yes I was appalled too :D) but also stout (Guinness,) bitter (John Smith's) and Hop House 13. Good place to watch the football and seems to have a lot of older regulars from the local community.

Looks great after refurbishment. Have lived in the area for 30 years but only went to Angies for 1st time just before refurbishment. It was quite dark and not very welcoming. Loving the new look!! Clean and comfortable surroundings, friendly staff, decent priced drinks and clean toilets. Definitely will be back for drinks in future. Might even try the pizza at some point!
